Through challenging times due to the global pandemic, JMI•Edison team members continue to deliver. We are thankful for the fantastic teamwork between the US, Japan, and JMI-Edison teams.
In 2019 the US Navy awarded the GE Healthcare Federal Health Sector team a total of five XR646 HD systems along with turnkey construction for each facility. These systems will be installed at four US Navy clinics in Japan and one in South Korea in Q2/Q3 2020.
A combined installation team led by vendor JMI•Edison from Guam and GE Healthcare Japan service installed the first system at Camp Fuji.

Special thanks to Elizabeth Birkmeyer (XR RML), Shawn Conklin (PMI) and Allison Benna (XR SDL) for leading the sales and project management efforts from the United States. From the FHS team, Kathy Johnson and Danielle Carosello provided customer and deal support, while Ryan Culhane facilitated our efforts with the Japan service team.
In addition, we would like to thank John Ilao and Vincent Legason from JMI•Edison, along with Takeshi-san “Alex” Fuchiwaki (Service GM Japan) and Hiroto-san Kinugawa (XR Modality Operations Leader Japan) for all of their help in making this first project a success. Vincent stayed in Japan for many weeks to complete the construction and equipment installation. Had Vince left Japan and returned to Guam, the project would have been delayed due to Covid-19 travel restrictions and mandated self-quarantine guidelines.
